Precision Rides in 12th Annual Miles for Military Event

Miles For MilitaryThis past Saturday, the Precision team saddled up once again for Rommel Harley Davidson’s annual Miles for Military Event, riding from Seaford, DE, to the Dover Air Force Base.

The funds raised by this year’s ride went to Operation We Care, an incredible volunteer-run organization   that delivers care packages to our troops. Knowing that 100% of the event’s proceeds were going toward sending a little piece of home to soldiers serving overseas certainly made for a ride to remember.

Miles For MilitarySaturday morning at 1100 hours, it was kickstands up! As we all got ready to hit the road, the excitement and energy coming from riders new and old was contagious. Coming together with hundreds of riders throughout the Delaware community to show an appreciation for the men and women who fight for our freedom is such an inspiring feeling that makes this event one we look forward to year after year.

After parking and dismounting at the Air Force Base in Dover, we all refueled with a victory lunch courtesy of one of our favorite Dover BBQ spots, Where Pigs Fly. As we reflected on our motorbike journey with family and friends, savored some of the state’s finest pulled pork, and enjoyed live outdoor music, we knew this year’s event was one that we’d never forget.

The Precision Door of Delaware team would like to thank all who participated. We already can’t wait for next year’s ride!
