We had a great time participating in this year’s Miles for Military ride, presented by Romel Harley Davidson. There was such a sense of community as hundreds of riders from all over the state came together for this worthy cause. Funds raised from this event went towards benefiting the USO, making the ride even more meaningful to us. The USO not only supports our troops, but also the families of our troops, which is why it was such an important event for us to be a part of and support. We appreciated getting the opportunity to say “thanks” in our own little way to those who are out serving our country.
We first arrived at the starting point in New Castle, DE where the energy was simply undeniable. Witnessing people from all walks of life – young, old, experienced and new riders – come together and rally around what we believe in and support was quite powerful. It wasn’t about our differences; instead, it was about the men and women who protect our country. From there, we rode down to Smyrna, DE where we all parked the bikes, had lunch together, and enjoyed some live music. It was a ton of fun and an experience that we can’t wait to be part of next year!
